Our Day

Fun First Nursery runs from 06:30 am till 4.00 pm every day from Sunday to Thursday.

We don’t offer before or after-hours care. Our teachers are available from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Our teacher’s assistants and helpers are available from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Our Daily Routine

Young children, toddlers, and babies enjoy a structured schedule of events on a daily basis. This develops a feeling of familiarity and security which allows the day to flow smoothly with the children able to anticipate what’s going to happen next. The homeroom group will, therefore, have a schedule that will be adhered to as best it can – making allowances for those little things that can change on a daily basis! You can click on the link below to see our Daily Schedule. Parents must realize however that babies and toddlers will follow a different schedule to the older children. They may for example require a morning nap time. Nevertheless, they will still be following a development curriculum appropriate to their age.

Security

We have a full-time security guard who is stationed at the nursery entrance and allows access through the electric gate to parents on a daily basis. Each parent will be given a ‘Parent Pass’ card which they will have to present to the security guard on arrival and collection. Visitors to the nursery must provide ID and will then be given a ‘Visitors Pass’.

Should you need a relative or friend to collect your child someday you will need to let the teacher know in advance if possible, if not, you will need to contact the nursery directly via telephone or email to let us know who exactly will be collecting your child. If you do not inform us then we will have to contact you directly to give permission for someone else to collect your child as this is a highly important security matter. Should a stranger arrive asking to take a child we reserve the right to query his/her relationship with parents.

Each parent is required to sign their child in and out each day as a matter of security. This will also help us with our headcounts if there was to be an emergency situation.
