Here at Fun First Nursery, we take your children’s nutritional needs very seriously. Please check this page regularly for new and exciting recipes for breakfast and lunch ideas.

Below is a breakdown of your child’s food intake on a daily basis.  For your child to maintain a healthy and balance diet, we recommend you follow the below guidelines -

  • Dairy:  To include 1 or 2 cups of dairy each day
  • Protein: 20% of daily intake
  • Grains: 30% of daily intake
  • Fruits: 10% of daily intake
  • Vegetables: 40% of daily intake
  • Fat: less than 5% of daily intake
  • Drinks: drink up to 8 glasses of water daily, limit sugary  drinks to 150ml daily.
